About The Author
I’m Arielle, a 30-something mother of two that decided to pick up my pen after putting it down so many years ago.
I love all things dark and moody, so of course I write rom-coms with witty banter, medium spice, and happily ever afters.
Currently writing my debut novel.

Rebecca Sorrenson has lived her life by one simple rule, keep the peace at all costs. No conflict, no surprises, and definitely no interaction with her grumpy boss. When disaster strikes and her supervisor is injured days before a conference in Maplecrest, PA, Rebecca is forced to take his place. Which means four days out of town, alone, with him.
From the moment he saw her Graham Wicks has been transfixed by the sunshine employee who brightens every room she walks into, except his. Because Rebecca won’t look at him and she certainly doesn’t speak to him. She downright refuses to give him anything.
But now? She’ll finally have to acknowledge his existence.
Between travel disasters, adversarial elevators, and one hotel mix-up (because of course), Graham is determined to figure out why Rebecca evades him and maybe get close enough to break through.
When Rebecca’s past unexpectedly shows up, it shatters the fragile walls she’s built around her and for the first time Graham sees the truth behind her avoidance. As the lines between professional and personal begin to blur, warding off Graham stops being an option, and the last person Rebecca expected to steady her might be the one she’s been avoiding all along
